Buy Garbage Bag Tags

Garbage Bag Tags are required for all bags of garbage put out to the curbside for weekly collection (a limit of up to 3 bags per residential property or up to 5 bags per commercial property). Greater Napanee bag tags are $4.00 per tag. 

If you own a residential dwelling, a Special Tax Levy for Curbside Collection of $150 will be added to your final tax bill of 2026, and 50 bag tags will be issued with the January tax bill mailing. 

Residents are reminded:

that all garbage must be in a bag;

the weight limit of 18 kg (40 lbs.) per bag remains in effect;

no large items will be collected;

to continue to recycle all items possible; and

that hazardous waste cannot be disposed of at the curbside.

Bag tags may be purchased at the following locations in multiples of 5 or 10 tags.
