Staying informed on Town updates is now easier than ever. The Town has launched a newsletter platform to provide various updates to residents and community partners by email. 

What types of updates can you subscribe to?

  • Council Agendas - Delivered the Monday before a Council meeting 
  • Council Highlights - Delivered the Friday after a Council meeting 
  • Monthly Newsletter - Delivered on the last Wednesday of each month 
  • Service Updates - Delivered on an as-needed basis, during emergencies, and during weather events

What can you expect from each type of update?

Council Agendas - Receive updates when Council agendas are published. Council meetings occur on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. 

Council Highlights - Receive updates on Council decisions made at the most recent meeting, upcoming meetings, and any Council related information you need to know.

Monthly Newsletter - Receive updates on events, new services being offered, important dates, information from the Town's partner organizations, fire safety information, and more. 

Service Updates - Receive an email when the Town has updates on the following services:

  • Road closures
  • Garbage collection delays 
  • Office closures 
  • Water main breaks 
  • Weather events
  • Critical safety information 
  • Emergency events
  • Any other service disruption
