Public Notice: Proposed Increase to Municipal Planning Application Fees

Council will consider a bylaw to update certain Planning Application Fees at the April 14, 2026, regular meeting of Council. The meeting will be held in person at 124 John Street and will be livestreamed on the Town’s YouTube channel. 

The proposed fee change will improve the Planning Department’s cost recovery rate while maintaining competitive fees to support development. Details of the proposed fee changes were presented to Council at the February 10, 2026, meeting and are available in the attached document.
