Total Burn Ban Downgraded to Partial Burn Ban

The Greater Napanee Fire Department downgraded the Total Burn Ban to a Partial Burn Ban effective Thursday, August 28, 2025.

A Partial Burn Ban allows residents to light and maintain a campfire of no more than 60 cm in width by 60 cm in height, used for cooking, warmth, and recreational enjoyment. Open-air burning is only permitted 2 hours before sunset until 2 hours after sunrise.

Open-air burning permits can be obtained on our website. 

Town Seeking Input Through Fire Protection Survey

September 24, 2025 

The Town of Greater Napanee is seeking input from the public on fire protection and education services provided by the Greater Napanee Fire Department.

Input can be provided by completing the Town’s survey available on Let’s Talk Greater Napanee. The survey will be open for feedback until October 20, 2025.

Responses will help inform the development of a new Fire Master Plan, which will guide fire protection and emergency service needs in our community.
