Public Notice - Declaration of Surplus Land
November 3, 2025
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Land Sale By-law 2025-0048 that at the Regular Session meeting of October 28, 2025, Council declared the following land as surplus, with the intent to consider a future sale agreement:
Part Lot 25-29 Concession 1, former Township of Richmond; Parts 4, 5, 6, & 7, registered plan 29R9996, lying north of Hwy 401, being the former CN rail line, as shown on the map below.

Background information can be found in the October 28 staff report SR-1078-2025, available online at www.greaternapanee.civicwebnet. Additional information is also anticipated to be reported to Council at the November 10 meeting.
Public comments regarding this decision will be considered by Council at its regular meeting on:
December 10, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.

Any person wishing to provide written or verbal comments to Council regarding the proposed sale of land may do so by contacting the Clerk, Jessica Walters, at jwalters@greaternapanee.com or by visiting 99 Advance Avenue.
Comments and deputation requests received by noon on Tuesday, December 2 will be included in the Council agenda. Additional comments may be submitted by 12:00 noon on Monday, December 8, 2025, and published as a late addition to the agenda.
Please note that seating capacity at Town Hall is limited to 25 people, and where five or more deputations are registered on the same topic, Council may limit the speaking time to two (2) minutes per person in order to allow for sufficient time to address all Town business. If we receive an early indication that the time and space allocated for this discussion is not sufficient, an alternative meeting date and venue will be considered.
