Passing of Former Mayor, Neil Lambert

The Town of Greater Napanee is sad to learn of the passing of our former Mayor, Neil Lambert. We would like to offer our sincere condolences to Neil's family and friends.

Neil served on Council for 13 years, from 1982 to 1995, representing what was then known as the Town of Napanee. During this time, he assumed the roles of Councillor, Deputy Reeve, and Mayor.

Mayor Richardson has known Neil for many years, both personally and professionally. Mayor Richardson stated, "No matter if he was in Council or fulfilling his duties as an auctioneer, Neil was always fair and reasonable with everyone he came in contact with. He will be sadly missed".

The flags at 99 Advance Ave, Station 1, and the Best & Bash Arena will be lowered until Neil's funeral service on June 20th.
