LEAR Study Open Houses

Join the County of Lennox and Addington at an upcoming LEAR Study Open House to learn more, view maps, and speak directly with County staff. Drop in at a time that works for you and find out how the study may affect your property and community. This Open House is being held to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the preliminary LEAR mapping. A presentation by the County's consultant, J.L Richards & Associates and Colville Consulting, will be provided overviewing the LEAR methodology and preliminary mapping results followed by a question and comment period. This is an opportunity to understand the LEAR process and to apply local knowledge and comment to refine the preliminary LEAR mapping. It is anticipated that a second Open House will be held in Spring 2026 to present the draft LEAR report and to review the recommended agricultural system mapping before a final recommendation is presented to County Council.

Written comments are also invited and must be received by February 13, 2026, to be considered in LEAR mapping updates. Please send questions/comments to planningclerk@lennox-addington.on.ca.
