Canada Day Celebration Details

Activities will be happening throughout the day at the Best & Bash Arena (16 McPherson Dr) from 7:00 am until 9:50 pm!

  • 7:00am - 10:00am - Firefighters pancake breakfast ($)
  • 9:00am - 3:00pm - Napanee Valley Cruisers Show N' Shine Car Show
  • 6:00pm - 8:00pm - Pony rides by The Party Ponies ($)
  • 6:00pm - 8:00pm - Face painting by First Impressions By Danielle
  • 6:00pm - 8:00pm - Balloon art by Just Jess
  • 5:00pm - 9:00pm - Family yard games
  • 7:00pm - Judging of Kids Decorating Competition (see more below)
  • 7:00pm - 10:00pm - Music by Diamond Productions
  • 8:00pm - Free popcorn, cotton candy, and cookies until the fireworks begin or while supplies last
  • 9:50 pm - Fireworks

Big D's Canteen will be open in the afternoon and evening. Items with a dollar sign will require a fee to participate.

This event is funded (in part) by the Government of Canada.


Kids Decorating Competition for Canada Day 

Where: Best & Bash Arena - 16 McPherson Drive

New to this year’s Canada Day Celebration is a Kids Decorating Competition!

Kids of all ages are invited to decorate their wagons, tricycles, bicycles, and scooters with a Canadian theme.

Prizes will be awarded for the following age groups: 1–3 years, 4–7 years, 8–12 years, and 13+ years.

Get creative and show off your Canadian spirit!

Judging will begin at 7:00 pm.

Please arrive by 6:30 pm to ensure your mode of transportation is ready to be showcased by 7:00 pm.

The competition will take place in the narrow parking lot south of the arena.

When: Weekend of April 25, 2026

Where: Greater Napanee

How to Particiapte: Residents are encouraged to take part in a community clean up in honour of Earth Day! Bags for the clean up will be available during business hours at the Best & Bash Arena (while supplies last).

Participants are required to complete a registration form to indicate the location where the collected bags of waste will be left.

Materials collected must be placed in the bags provided by the Town or in clear garbage bags and left at the location specified in the registration form by 7:00 am on April 27. Staff may not reach all areas on that day; however, bags will be collected throughout the week.

Where: Conservation Park (10 Pearl Street)

Come join us as we light up the park! This event will feature fireworks, a fire show from NorthFire Circus, light wands for attendees, and cookies!

When: November 29, 2025, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm 

Where: Banquet Hall at the Best & Bash Arena - 16 McPherson Drive

Admission: Free!

Our Movie in the Park Series is back for another year! The Town will be providing popcorn for each movie. Chocolate milk will also be available at each movie thanks to the L&A Dairy Producers.

Don't miss our annual Seedling Giveaway!

When: Saturday, May 2, 2026

Where: Best & Bash Arena (16 McPherson Dr.)

Time: Event begins at 9:00 am, while supplies last.

Cost: This event is free. All you need to do is bring a pail to collect your seedlings. 

How to store seedlings:

  • Keep the roots cool, dark, and moist
  • Plant the seedlings as soon as possible
