Upcoming Temporary Road Closures

June 2, 2026

Homestead Road will be temporarily closed to traffic between 76 and 87 Homestead Road on June 2, 2026, from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. This closure is necessary for a cross culvert replacement.

Homestead Road will be temporarily closed to traffic between 152 Homestead Road west to the corner on June 2, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This closure is necessary for a cross culvert replacement.

Call Centre for Residential Garbage Collection Concerns

Starting June 1, 2026, residents will be required to report all garbage collection concerns directly to Waste Management’s call centre. This change will improve customer service and response times.

Town of Greater Napanee Seeking Members for the Waste Diversion Committee

Applications are now being accepted for the Town's Waste Diversion Committee. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, March 7th, 2025.

The purpose of the Waste Diversion Committee is to assist and make recommendations to Council on matters relating to the future of various aspects of solid waste within the Town of Greater Napanee. 

Members will assist staff in researching existing needs and develop detailed recommendations for the future of Waste Diversion within Greater Napanee.
