Notice of Public Meeting - Development Charges Background Study

On Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Greater Napanee will
hold a public meeting, pursuant to Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to
present and obtain public input on the municipality’s proposed development charges (D.C.) by-law
update and underlying background study update.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council and any person who attends
the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed D.C. by-law and background study.

The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, at 7:00pm or shortly thereafter at Town
Hall, 124 John Street, Napanee, Ontario.

In order that sufficient information is made available to the public, the background study is available
online at the municipality’s website dated May 13, 2026. Physical copies, if desired, of the proposed D.C. by-law and the background study are also available from the General Manager of Growth and Infrastructure at 99A Advance Avenue, Napanee, Ontario.

Interested persons may express their comments at the public meeting or in writing, addressed to the
General Manager of Growth and Infrastructure, via the below contact information prior to July 14, 2026.
