Improved Website Search Bar

A new tool has been added to the search bar on our website that is designed to deliver more accurate search results.

In early 2026, we’ll be reaching out to residents to gather feedback on how the search bar is performing and to hear any additional suggestions for improvement.

Temporary Closure of Springside Park Trail

The Springside Park trail will be closed from Bracken Street to the base of the falls between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 20. This closure is necessary to facilitate clean up efforts at encampment sites that have been deemed as abandoned.

Cooling Centre Open June 23 & 24

In response to the forecasted high temperatures, the Best & Bash Arena located at 16 McPherson Drive will be open on June 23rd and 24th from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm as a cooling centre. A water bottle filling station is located inside the arena across from the Home Hardware ice pad.

Information about protective measures during the multi-day heat event is available on the KFL&A Public Health website.

Residents are encouraged to have 72 hours of essential supplies on hand during the heat event. Visit our website for more information on emergency preparedness.
