Improved Website Search Bar

A new tool has been added to the search bar on our website that is designed to deliver more accurate search results.

In early 2026, we’ll be reaching out to residents to gather feedback on how the search bar is performing and to hear any additional suggestions for improvement.

Temporary Closure of Springside Park Trail

The Springside Park trail will be closed from Bracken Street to the base of the falls between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 20. This closure is necessary to facilitate clean up efforts at encampment sites that have been deemed as abandoned.

Heritage Committee

The Municipal Heritage Committee is a volunteer, advisory and consultative committee established to:

  • Advise and assist in community heritage matters
  • Encourage and promote heritage awareness, conservation and preservation within the municipality
  • Establish partnerships with other heritage and community organizations
