Recycling Changes for Non-Eligible Sources

Starting January 1, 2026, recycling collection from non-eligible sources will no longer be collected curbside with residential recycling. Under the Blue Box Regulation, the following premises are considered non-eligible sources:
- Commercial properties and businesses
- Daycares
- Places of worship
- Non-profit or charitable organizations
- Commercial farms
- Institutions
- Seasonal trailer parks and campgrounds
- Municipal and government buildings
- Industrial properties
Non-eligible sources will have two options for recycling collection as of January 1, 2026:
- Private collection
- Bringing recycling to the Town’s waste disposal sites
