Recycling Changes for Non-Eligible Sources

Starting January 1, 2026, recycling collection from non-eligible sources will no longer be collected curbside with residential recycling. Under the Blue Box Regulation, the following premises are considered non-eligible sources:

• Commercial properties and businesses
• Daycares
• Places of worship
• Non-profit or charitable organizations
• Commercial farms
• Institutions
• Seasonal trailer parks and campgrounds
• Municipal and government buildings
• Industrial properties

Non-eligible sources will have two options for recycling collection as of January 1, 2026:

• Private collection
• Bringing recycling to the Town’s waste disposal sites
