Public Notice - Update to Town Procurement By-law

Council will consider a bylaw to update its policies regarding the procurement of goods and services at the December 9, 2025, regular meeting of Council. The meeting will be held in person at 124 John Street and will be livestreamed on the Town’s YouTube channel. 

The update is being made in response to the recommendations from the procurement process review conducted by KPMG and includes changes to improve clarity, public accountability, and operational effectiveness. 

The draft by-law and background report are available on the November 10, 2025, Council agenda at www.greaternapanee.civicweb.net.  

Any written comments regarding the proposed fees may be directed to Jessica Walters, Clerk, at 343-302-5238 or jwalters@greaternapanee.com. Comments and deputation requests received by noon on Tuesday, December 2 will be included in the Council agenda. Additional comments may be submitted until 12:00 noon on Monday, December 8, 2025, and will be published as a late addition to the agenda.
