Public Notice - Proposed Amendment to the Town of Greater Napanee Council and Committee Land Sale By-law

Council will consider a by-law to amend the Procedural By-law No. 2023-0060, at the June 9, 2026, regular meeting. The meeting will be held in person at South Fredericksburgh Hall at 7:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed on the Town’s YouTube channel. 

The proposed amendment would add a requirement for open session reporting on rejected land sale offers that are reviewed by Council in closed session, in order to add more transparency to the land sale process. A staff report on the proposed changes was presented at the May 12, 2026, meeting of Council and is available online through the Town's Council portal.

The deadline to be included on the agenda is noon on Monday, June 8, 2026. All written comments will be presented to Council for consideration.
