Public Notice - Permanent Road Closure

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to By-law No. 2025-0048, that the Council of the Town of Greater Napanee intends to enact a by-law to permanently close, declare surplus to the Town’s needs, and convey the following unopened municipal road allowance:
- The portion of the unopened road allowance intersecting to the north of Newburgh Road and running parallel between Camden Road and Crouse Street as shown on the key map below:

- For the purpose of consolidating it with the surrounding former Suddard subdivision lands in preparation for a public sale.
The proposed by-law will be considered by Council at its regular meeting on:
Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
Town Hall Council Chambers (upstairs),
124 John Street, Napanee, ON
or soon thereafter, at which time Council will hear any person who claims that their land will be prejudicially affected by the closing of these municipal road allowances, and who applies to the Clerk to be heard.
Any person wishing to provide written or verbal comments to Council regarding the proposed sale of land may do so by contacting the Clerk, Jessica Walters, at jwalters@greaternapanee.com or 99 Advance Avenue no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, December 8, 2025.
