The Town of Greater Napanee has received an application for a:
Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA)
PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE APPLICATION:
The site is located at 163 Drive In Road (see attached Key Map). The property has an area of approximately 2.4 hectares. The property is currently designated ‘Rural’ in the Town of Greater Napanee’s Official Plan, and is zoned ‘Rural Industrial Exception 5 (M3-5)’ in Zoning By-law Number 02-22.
The applicant is requesting an amendment to the Zoning By-law to include the uses of a Motor Vehicle Shop, Motor Vehicle Repair Garage, and Towing Office under the M3-5 zone category.

PUBLIC CONSULTATION:
Anyone may attend the Public Meeting and make a verbal statement, and/or submit comments in writing, either in support or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. Council will receive a staff report with respect to the applications at the Public Meeting. All representations, both verbal and written, will be considered by Council and make part of the public record, and a staff recommendation for the applications will be submitted to Council for a decision on the matter.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town of Greater Napanee to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Greater Napanee before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Greater Napanee before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
