Parks By-law and Encampment Protocol Survey

Greater Napanee Council will be reviewing the Parks By-law and Encampment Protocol at the end of the summer and is looking for community input on how the Town’s implementation of this by-law can be improved.

Residents can share their input by completing the Town's survey on Let's Talk Greater Napanee. The survey will be open for feedback until August 6, 2025.

2026 Municipal Election Survey

The next Municipal Election is set for Monday, October 26, 2026. Since 2014, we've used the following electronic voting methods to make casting ballots easier for residents:
  • Voting online from your own device
  • Voting by telephone
  • Voting in person at an assisted polling station
As we prepare for the 2026 Municipal Election, we're seeking input from residents on voting options.

Parks By-law and Encampment Protocol Survey

July 9, 2025 

On November 12, 2024, Town Council adopted a new Parks By-law and Encampment Response Protocol following an extensive community consultation. This protocol establishes sensitive use areas where encampments are not permitted, and rules regarding size and cleanliness that must be followed for encampments on public land outside of the sensitive use areas.

Council will be reviewing the Parks By-law and Encampment Protocol at the end of the summer and is looking for community input on how the Town’s implementation of this by-law can be improved.
