Office Closure and Curbside Collection Changes for Canada Day

Please be advised that our Municipal Office will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, for Canada Day.

If you are scheduled to receive garbage or recycling collection on Wednesday, July 1, your items will be collected on Monday, June 29. Garbage and recycling collection will return to the regular collection schedule the following week.

Greater Napanee Fire Department Recruiting Paid On-Call Firefighters

The Greater Napanee Fire Department is currently recruiting Paid On-Call Firefighters for all three fire stations.

A recruitment night will be held on July 9 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at 66 Advance Avenue, Napanee. Attendees are encouraged to bring their families and learn more about the role, requirements, and application process.

Notice of Temporary Road Closure - Battle of the Atlantic Parade

Please be advised that the following roads will be temporarily closed to accommodate the Battle of the Atlantic Parade, beginning and ending at the Napanee Legion, 26 Mill St. E., on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Affected Roads:

  • John Street
  • Bridge Street
  • Alma Avenue
  • Thomas Street East
A formal Battle of the Atlantic ceremony will take place at the cenotaph scheduled for 11:00 am.
