Notice of Passing of Municipal-Wide Development Charges By-law Amendment

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Greater Napanee passed municipal-wide development charges By-law Amendment No. 2026-0057 on the 14th day of July, 2026 under section 2 (1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended, being a By-Law to Amend By-Law 2022-0059, as amended, respecting Municipal-wide Development Charges;

AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal under section 14 of the Act, in respect of the development charges by-law, by filing with the Clerk of the Town of Greater Napanee by emailing clerksdept@greaternapanee.com on or before the 23rd day of August, 2026 a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-law and the reasons supporting the objection.

The schedule of development charges imposed by the by-law, which came into effect on July 14, 2026, is as follows:

No key map has been provided as the by-law applies to all lands located within the Town of Greater Napanee.

A copy of the complete by-law is available for examination at the municipal office, 99A Advance Avenue, Napanee, ON, K7R 3Y5 during regular business hours (weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM) excluding statutory holidays.
