Old Town Hall Interior Renovation Survey

The Market Square Advisory Committee is seeking input on the interior renovations at the historic Old Town Hall. Feedback collected will help shape how this space will best service the community moving forward.

Winter Parking Restrictions

Winter parking restrictions are in effect from December 1 - March 31. During this time, parking is not permitted on any roadways or streets between 1:00 am and 7:00 am for winter maintenance operations.

Holiday Hours & Service Changes

Municipal Administration Centre

  • December 24, 2025 - Open from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
  • December 25, 2025 - Closed for Christmas Day.
  • December 26, 2025 - Closed for Boxing Day.
  • December 29, 30 & 31, 2025 - Closed for public access. Staff will be available by phone and email during regular hours on December 29 & 30, and between 8:30 am - 12:00 pm on December 31.
  • January 1, 2026 - Closed for New Year’s Day.
  • January 2, 2026 - Resume regular business hours.

Please note that many staff take vacation time during the holiday break. If staff are away, they will respond to your call/email once they return from holidays in the new year.

Best & Bash Arena

  • December 24, 2025 - Arena will be closed at 12:00 pm.
  • December 25, 2025 - Closed for Christmas Day.
  • December 31, 2025 - Arena will be closed at 12:00 pm.
  • January 1, 2026 - Closed for New Year’s Day.
  • January 2, 2026 - Resume regular business hours.

Recycling Collection

  • If you are scheduled to receive curbside collection on December 25, your garbage and recycling will be collected on December 22.
  • If you are scheduled to receive curbside collection on January 1, your garbage and recycling will be collected on December 29.

A reminder that recycling will begin being collected by Emterra Environmental on January 2, 2026, as a result of changes in provincial legislation. For all recycling inquires in the new year, please contact Emterra’s customer service at 1-888-597-1541 or customercareont@emterra.ca.

Waste Disposal Sites

Waste disposal site hours will not be impacted during the holidays.
