Greater Napanee Budget Update - 2026 Budget Invests in Encampment Management
As part of the 2026 Budget, additional funding has been allocated to support contracted encampment clean-up services and additional legal expenses. Throughout 2026, the Town will continue to provide education and enforcement under the Parks By-law and Encampment Response Protocol.
To ensure that encampment management remains a priority, this will be a dedicated service level for the Town’s Municipal Law Enforcement.
Continued fire services support will also be prioritized in 2026 to ensure the safety of those located in and around encampments.
