Working or Volunteering in the Community

The Town of Greater Napanee is an urban/rural municipality located on Highway 401, midway between Kingston and Belleville, with train service on the Montreal to Windsor VIA Rail corridor, for easy commuting to Toronto.

Our progressive community has a good mix of residential neighbourhoods, a diverse commercial base and is supported by strong relationships with our industrial employers. Our recently renovated hospital works in step with our many family physician practices, physiotherapists, dentists and optometrists to provide well-rounded medical support services for the County of Lennox and Addington.

Greater Napanee has a history steeped in amateur sport, a local theatre, well-maintained cycling trails, shorelines on 5 waterways, and a vast array of active community groups, in both sport and culture. You'll find something for all ages, from toddlers to seniors in our Town.

Our Employment Approach

The Town is an equal opportunity employer that offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits and a true team environment where the staff is focused on customer service.

A structured hiring and interview process has been developed to help us find people that can add value to an already strong dynamic team.

Once employed, the Town offers many educational opportunities and expects employees to develop training plans with the assistance of the Senior Management Team.
