Giveaway Day is a great opportunity to de-clutter and find a new home for any unwanted items while also picking up something you may want or need for free!

Residents are encouraged to place items at the curb between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Unclaimed items must be removed by 7:00 pm on the same day and remain the residents responsibility. Greater Napanee will NOT be collecting unclaimed items.

Tips for Leaving Out Items:

  • Clearly label your items as free
  • Ensure any items that you do not want taken are kept away from the curb

Tips for Picking Items Up:

  • Respect other people's property - do not walk on people's lawns or gardens
  • Take only items that are marked "FREE" and placed at the curb
  • Do not leave previously picked-up items on the curb at other people's property

Gently used acceptable items include: books, cd's, DVD's, furniture, small appliances, toys, kitchen gadgets, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, sporting goods, outdoor items, electronics, construction/renovation materials, tools, etc.
