Public Notice: 2022 Municipal Budget Meeting Schedule

Please be advised that the 2022 Budget Meeting Schedule is as follows:

 

  • Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Operating Budget
  • Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Operating Budget and Capital Budget
  • Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Water/Sewer, Operating Budget and Capital Budget
  • Tuesday, December 14, 2021 (Regular Session of Council) from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Final Budget Approval

 

All meetings will be held publicly in-person at the Selby Community Hall (114 Pleasant Dr.).

Please Note: These in-person public meetings will be live streamed via the Town’s YouTube channel.

 

A successful 2022 Public Budget Consultation Session was held virtually on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Residents had the opportunity to hear and engage in a budget presentation by the Town’s General Manager of Financial Services / Treasurer. Residents also had the opportunity to submit questions regarding the municipal budget through the Town’s new community engagement platform, Let’s Talk Greater Napanee (www.letstalkgreaternapanee.ca). Residents who could not attend this meeting can still view it via the Town’s YouTube channel.

 

A presentation will be given to Council at the beginning of the first budget meeting on October 20 summarizing the public feedback received from this Consultation Session.
