Do you want to run for Municipal Office or School Board in the 2022 Municipal Election?

 

Nominations- must be made on the prescribed form available at the Clerk’s office jwalters@greaternapanee.com or on the Town’s website.

 

  • nomination forms must be filed in person by a candidate or their agent, with at least 25 signatures,
  • must include the filing fee: Mayor is $200.00; all other Offices are $100.00. Cash, debit or cheque is accepted,
  • must be submitted to the Town Clerk/Returning Officer or designate, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., between Monday, May 2, 2022 to Thursday, August 18, 2022, or between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022 (Nomination Day),
  • Candidates must make an appt, contact the Clerks Dept. at (343) 302-5238

 

The election will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Advance voting period will be open from Tuesday, October 11, to Sunday, October 23, 2022.

 

 

Municipal Offices for which Persons may be Nominated: Mayor (to be elected at large), Deputy Mayor (to be elected at large), Councillor for Wards 1 through 5.
