Municipal Road Closures

Public Notice


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to By-law No. 2022-0009, that the Council of the Town of Greater Napanee intends to consider requests to enact by-laws to permanently close, declare surplus to the Town’s needs and convey the following unopened municipal road allowances:


Application 1 Includes:
• The land near 69 Glennelm Road, described as between Lots 12 and 13, Concession 8, Geographic Township of Richmond, as shown on the key map below:

• To be conveyed to Claude and Sally Lambert in accordance with the Town’s Road Closing and Sale Policy.


Application 2 Includes:
• The land near 10665 Loyalist Parkway, described as part of Third Street and part of an unnamed Road Allowance on Plan 60, Adolphustown, as shown on the key map below:

• To be conveyed to Mildred Punchard in accordance with the Town’s Road Closing and Sale Policy.


Application 3 Includes:
• The land to the north of 2603 County Rd 11, described as a portion of the road allowance between Concession 5 and 6, geographic Township of Richmond, as shown on the key map below:

• To be conveyed to Clarke Martin in accordance with the Town’s Road Closing and Sale Policy.


The proposed by-laws will be considered by Council at its regular meeting on:


Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.
Town Hall Council Chambers (upstairs),
124 John Street, Napanee, ON


or soon thereafter, at which time Council will hear any person who claims that their land will be prejudicially affected by the closing of these municipal road allowances, and who applies to the Clerk to be heard.
