Updates Regarding Municipal Actions Taken in Response to KFL&A Reopening
As of Wednesday, February 10, 2021, the KFL&A Public Health region, which includes the Town of Greater Napanee, moved into the ‘Green – Prevent’ level of the Province’s COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe and Open. Moving into this level will mean that municipal facilities will be allowed to reopen with safety protocols in place.
In the continued response to COVID-19, please be advised of the revised actions that the Town of Greater Napanee is taking for some of its municipal services, facilities and procedures to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
What's Open:
Municipal Offices Now Reopened: All municipal office buildings have reopened to the public. Masks/face coverings are mandatory upon entering any municipal office building and physical distancing of 2 metres is required.
Marriage Licences & Commissioner of Oath: Marriage licences and Commissioner of Oath service are now available by appointment only at the Community & Corporate Services office (12 Market Square). Please call 613-354-3351 ext. 2000 to make an appointment.
Development Services: All building inspections, septic inspections and site development meetings have now resumed with the appropriate COVID-19 safety protocols in place. If you’re requesting in-person services, please call the Infrastructure Services department at 613-354-5931 to schedule an appointment to determine an appropriate delivery method for the services that you require.
Strathcona Paper Centre Now Reopened: The Strathcona Paper Centre (SPC) has now reopened to the public.
What's Changing:
Council & Committee Meetings: Please be advised that the Regular Meeting of Council scheduled for Tuesday, February 23, 2021 will be held virtually via Zoom beginning at 6:00 p.m.
As of March 9, 2021, Committee of Adjustment and Regular Meetings of Council will be held in person at the Selby Community Hall and will begin at 6:45 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. respectively. All Council and Committee of Adjustment Meetings, whether held virtually or in person, will still be live streamed via the Town’s YouTube channel for the public to view.
Tenders and Request for Proposal Submissions (RFPs): All tenders and RFPs are being directed to 12 Market Square as the centralized collection point.
