Council & Committees
Residents may attend Council meetings in-person or watch the virtual livestream. Those attending are asked to consider the following:
- Self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms before attending - if you have any symptoms of illness, please stay home and watch the meeting via YouTube.
- Limited seating for approximately 25 is available in Council Chamber. Seating will be reserved for registered delegations, with remaining seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Learn more about how to register to speak as a delegation at Council meetings here.
If you'd like to speak before Council regarding an issue you feel is of importance to the community, please request to appear as a deputation before Council. To appear as a deputation before Council, please submit a Deputation Request Form.
The Corporation of the Town of Greater Napanee is governed by an elected Council comprised of a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and five Ward Councillors serving a four year term. Council has a number of advisory committees and boards that provide recommendations to Council which help our community meet goals and prepare for the future.
