Parks By-law and Encampment Protocol Survey

Greater Napanee Council will be reviewing the Parks By-law and Encampment Protocol at the end of the summer and is looking for community input on how the Town’s implementation of this by-law can be improved.

Residents can share their input by completing the Town's survey on Let's Talk Greater Napanee. The survey will be open for feedback until August 6, 2025.

Road and Lane Closures

July 21 & 22, 2025 - There will be a northbound lane closure on County Rd 41 between the Richmond Blvd/Jim Kimmett Blvd intersection and the eastbound on/off ramp to Highway 401.

As a result, this section of road will have a lane shift and will operate as single lanes for both northbound and southbound traffic. The temporary lane closure will begin on Monday, July 21st, 2025, at 12:00 pm and is expected to be fully reopened by the end of the business day on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025.

July 22, 2025 - Roblin Road will be temporarily closed between 1321 and 1019 Roblin Road on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm for the replacement of a cross culvert.

Town of Greater Napanee Seeking Community Initiatives Fund Advisory Committee Members

The Town of Greater Napanee is seeking 5 residents to join the newly established Community Initiatives Fund Advisory Committee.

The Committee will review grant applications from local not-for-profit organizations, replacing the current process under the Atura Power Community Development Fund.

This Committee will be required to meet a minimum of twice per year to review applications for the spring and fall grant intake periods, and will make grant award recommendations to Council who will make the final decision.
